Detroit, MI – July 27, 2009 – On Wednesday, July 29, 2009, The Committee to Elect Tamika Louise Gaines for Detroit City Council will host a "Meet and Greet" withTamika Louise Gaines. This event will be held at the Zazz gas station located on the corner of Fenkell and Wyoming in Detroit, MI.
In the spirit of servitude, Gaines will be pumping gas for patrons. Ms. Gaines will also use this opportunity to address Detroit voters and discuss her strategy for taking Detroit in a new direction. The event will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.
With the August 4 primary just around the corner, Gaines is focused on her one goal, winning a seat on the Detroit City Council. She plans to continue her door to door campaigning beginning on the east side and working her way to the west side of Detroit.
