INDEPENDENT CONTRACT SEDAN CHAUFFEURS – Metro Cars has immediate openings for full-time, part-time, and weekend luxury independent contract sedan chauffeurs.
These drivers work on a commission plus gratuity pay system. So, they get to be their own boss with a job that has excellent income potential.
Must have a chauffeur’s license and be at least 25-years-old (for insurance purposes), must obtain a state felony clearance with no criminal history, and must be able to work a flexible schedule – as this position functions in a 24/7 environment.

AIRPORT REPRESENTATIVE – Metro Cars is looking for outgoing energetic people interested in attending to clients’ needs as a meet & greet airport representative at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
Responsibilities include meeting clients at gates and baggage claims, assisting chauffeurs, communicating with dispatch, etc. The position requires an impeccable customer service attitude, strong salesmanship skills, professional appearance and courteous nature.
This job covers an afternoon shift, and candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Successful candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screen. The starting wage is $11.25/hour.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – This job is for those who have good communication skills. The job is primarily responsible for assisting clients in making transportation reservations.
The starting wage is $10.50 per hour.
DIESEL MECHANIC – Metro Cars is also seeking a full-time certified Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic. Manufacturer certifications and/or training is a plus. There’s a hiring bonus available!
The mechanic is responsible for providing quality maintenance and repairs within given standard times on heavy duty trucks, as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Candidates must own their own tools.

MASTER MECHANIC – There’s also a hiring bonus offered for a Certified or Master Mechanic’s position open right now. Both diesel and gas engine experience is a plus. Applicants must be able to repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems as well as perform routine maintenance functions.
Candidates must possess their own tools and be available to work a variety of shifts.
METRO CAB TAXI DRIVER – There are immediate openings for taxi drivers servicing Detroit Metropolitan Airport who want to work as independent contractors. Having extensive geographical knowledge of southeastern Michigan is key for this position.
Candidates must have a valid State of Michigan Chauffeur license, a passport to cross into Canada, a clean driving record, and be willing to have a criminal background check.

MOTOR COACH SHUTTLE/BUS DRIVERS – These openings are for drivers who would take passengers to and from assigned public parking lots and terminals and/or transport them to out-of-state destinations and back.
A minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience is necessary. Candidates must possess a valid Michigan CDL license among other requirements.
