ZF is looking to hire 40-to-50 employees at its Washington, MI facility

ZF – a global leader in driveline, chassis, and safety technology – is currently looking to fill dozens of openings for project managers and engineers.

ZF has a global workforce of around 138,300 at about 230 locations in some 40 countries. 

The business prides itself on having a great enthusiasm for innovative products and maintaining an obsessive pursuit of quality.

The current job openings in metro Detroit are located at the company’s Washington, Michigan, facility on 26 Mile Road -- which is ZF’s global Occupant Safety Systems headquarters.

The focus there is on creating life-saving automotive technologies and steering systems.

JOB OPENINGS

Project Managers – This job involves working with all parts of the business to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering or a related technical field.

An MBA is preferred, but additional business management education or experience will be considered.

Engineers – This job is responsible for designing, developing and implementing programs and applications. 

Engineers must be able to do customer analysis to create products that respond to customer needs and provide innovative solutions to common problems. They also perform prototyping, tests and design reviews to ensure products are satisfactory.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and 5+ years of experience.
