EXETER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 2.7-magnitude earthquake was reported in Monroe County on Monday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The USGS says the earthquake happened in Exeter Township, just west of Carleton, at 5:32 p.m. at a depth of 5.2 km.
There are reports of people feeling the earthquake.
On April 27, 2.9-magnitude earthquake was reported in Amherstburg, Ontario, about 15 miles directly south of Detroit.
