Ann Arbor's Dominican Sisters of Mary to sing at White House National Christmas Tree Lighting

The Dominican Sisters of Mary will sing at the 96th annual White House National Christmas Tree Lighting this year.

The event will be held on the White House lawn on Nov. 28 and will be broadcasted on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 10 p.m.

This year, the theme of the tree lighting is "Through the Decades," which is meant to celebrate the holiday season with favorite tunes.

The sisters will sing selections from their album "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring: Christmas with the Dominican Sisters of Mary."

The Sisters have made multiple appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show as well as The Today Show, The Associated Press, NBC Nightly News, NPR,  Good Morning America, Telegraph UK, Fox and Friends and CBS This Morning.
