(WXYZ) — The Michigan Department of Corrections caught a photo of a bobcat that was hanging out near the Chippewa Correctional Facility.
The facility is located in Chippewa County in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
The MDOC posted that the bobcat jumped out of the wire, ran around the perimeter, up a maple tree and then hung out for about an hour.
Then, the bobcat jumped down and ran around the parking lo,t where staff and Michigan DNR workers were able to corral it off the grounds.
