DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Police Department's homicide unit is investigating after the body of a woman was found on the city's east side.
The body was found near a home in the 1900 block of Hershey around 6 p.m. Officers with the 12th Precinct found the body in the street while on active patrol.
It's unclear at this time how the woman died, as police have not informed us of a suspect. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 313-596-2260 or 1-800-Speak-Up.
