Detroit police locate missing 5-year-old boy on east side

DETROIT (WXYZ) - UPDATE: Detroit police say they have located a missing 5-year-old boy who disappeared yesterday afternoon.
We're told the boy was found at a family friend's house.
Detroit police are searching for a missing 5-year-old boy on the city's east side.
According to police, the boy, named Kendall Moses, was last seen yesterday afternoon.
Right now, they are searching the area of Whittier and Greensboro, which is northwest of I-94 off of Whittier.
You can see the boy's photo above. He is described as a black male, 3-feet-5-inches tall and about 35 pounds.
Kendall was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue and green basketball shorts with blue and white shirts. The mother told police they were sitting on the front porch and Kendall probably went out the side door.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
