Lions select Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams with 28th pick in first round of 2025 NFL Draft

The Lions picked defensive tackle Tyleik Williams with the 28th overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. "He's a very nimble athlete, but the thing about him is he's incredibly instinctive too," Brad Holmes said. "He's a lot like the guy we have now in Alim (McNeill)." Brad Galli has more.

GREEN BAY, Wisc. — With the 28th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions selected Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams.

In 51 games across four seasons, Williams has racked up 136 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 10 passes defended, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble.
