Police in Michigan are investigating after a 4-year-old found a loaded gun unattended in a department store restroom.

According to WWTV-TV, Cody Swy was shopping at the Macy’s in the Grand Traverse Mall in northern Michigan when his two children needed to use the restroom. Swy brought his children in the men’s restroom, where his daughter used a stall.

WWTV-TV reports that Swy heard his daughter ask "What's this?" When he opened the stall door, Swy's daughter was pointing a gun at his chest.

Swy was able to convince his daughter to put the gun down. He returned the weapon to its holster, and found a store employee, who contacted security.

The daughter was not hurt during the incident.

Security eventually called the police. Police told Swy that the gun his daughter found was loaded.

According to WPBN-TV, police have searched the serial number on the gun, but haven’t found the owner yet. They’re currently reviewing surveillance video to try and find the owner.
