Las Vegas shooting survivor wakes from coma

Tina Frost, 27, was in a coma for nearly two weeks after a bullet struck her in the forehead during the shooting at the Route 91 music festival in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.

Tina woke up from her coma on Oct. 13 and took her first steps in nearly two weeks.

"It's going to be such a long road, but we are in it for the long haul because she has made it through this far," said Tina's mother.

Tina is from the Washington D.C. area but was attending the Route 91 festival with her boyfriend when the shots began. When news broke of her situation those in the D.C. area sprung into action and began raising money for her via a GoFundMe account.

As of Monday, theGoFundMe is above $555,000 and growing.
