A father's 15-year-old daughter and her 21-year-old boyfriend face multiple charges in connection with his murder in Tonopah, Arizona.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a home near 371st Avenue and Buckeye Road on Monday afternoon for a report of unknown trouble.

As deputies arrived, they located 59-year-old John Norton, who was shot and killed.

The caller, Norton's 15-year-old daughter, reportedly told MCSO dispatchers that she witnessed a former boyfriend shoot her father at their residence several hours earlier in the day.

The girl also told deputies that she had fled the home after the shooting with her younger sister.

After several interviews with witnesses, deputies say they developed suspicion that Norton's daughter and her current boyfriend, 21-year-old Daniel Stroh were responsible for the homicide.

During interviews with deputies, both reportedly confessed to the murder which was allegedly planned out several days in advance.

Stroh was booked into jail on a count of first-degree murder, a count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and tampering with evidence.

Norton's daughter was booked into the Durango Juvenile Detention Facility and was charged with a count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and a count of tampering with evidence.
