A nurse named Vanessa from Orange County, California was on the scene of the mass shooting in Las Vegas near the Mandalay Bay.

After a shooter opened fire on the crowd at the Route 91 music festival, the crowd began to flee when they could.

She described breaks in between rounds of shots and that the shooting went on for what seemed like 20 minutes. When there was a break in the shooting people ran and that's when she realized one of her friends was shot.

Vanessa went to 3 different scenes and at the third location there were bodies. But she said that in the midst of the chaos there were police officers, doctors and just normal people helping others and communicating.
