* WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR ALL OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN UNTIL 2PM FRIDAY. SANILAC AND ST. CLAIR COUNTIES FROM 3 AM - 8 PM FRIDAY.

Tonight: Snow begins around midnight and picks up through the morning hours. 1" to 2" possible by sunrise. Low of 30°. Wind: NE 10-25 mph.

Friday: Moderate to heavy snow in the morning. Widespread snowfall amounts look to be between 3"-6" across all of southeast Michigan. Most accumulation will be done by 1pm, but lighter snow showers will persist through the evening. A few bands of lake effect snow will be possible across the eastern Thumb; including Sanilac, St. Clair, and Macomb counties. Wind: NE 15-25 mph but getting lighter later in the day.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 36°. Wind: N 10 mph.
